Pico Technology Type T Thermocouples are available in three versions: stainless steel waterproof tip, fiberglass insulated, and PTFE insulated. The thermocouple sensors with a stainless steel waterproof tip come in cable lengths from 3m to 10m. They have a waterproof silicone rubber jacket and a stainless steel 4mm or 5mm x 50mm tip. The highly versatile probe can be used for full immersion in liquids and semisolids, in fridges and freezers, and for air measurement. The robust tip resists corrosive or oxidizing liquids.
Fiberglass- and PTFE-insulated thermocouples have an exposed tip and are offered in cable lengths from 1m to 10m. The exposed welded tip offers a fast response and is ideal for gas measurements. The PTFE-insulated sensors resist chemicals, oils, and fluids. The fiberglass-insulated version offers resistance to hotter temperatures.
Pico Technology Type T Thermocouples are manufactured to strict industry tolerances stated in IEC 60584-2:1993 / BS EN 60584-1:2013 specifications.
