Panasonic Industrial Devices RF35 Narrow Pitch RF Connectors for board-to-FPC are ultra-small 0.35mm pitch socket and header connectors for high-frequency applications such as 5G millimeter-wave antenna modules. This connector uses 2 RF pins on each end of the connector to transmit signals of up to 15GHz with 5G specifications. These narrow pitch connectors also utilize 5 general signal pins and 3 ground pins as well as a metal shield to improve EMI/EMS characteristics. The fully shielded structure in both the socket and the header of the Panasonic RF35 series results in improved EMI/EMS characteristics relative to previous versions. The tough contact structure on these high-frequency connectors results in high contact reliability and high retention force. The RF35 has a high removal force by lock structure and TOUGH CONTACT construction consisting of bellowed contacts for shock and vibration resistance and a v-notch construction shape that maintains 2 points of contact between the socket and header pins. Both the socket and header have a robust structure with exposed metal fittings to prevent damage to the flange. Panasonic Industrial Devices RF35 Narrow Pitch RF Connectors can be used between the antenna module connector and main board 5mm wave antenna modules, UWB (Ultra Wide Band) antennas, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and routers.
