onsemi Power Integrated Modules (PIMs) integrate a 3-phase inverter circuit, a diode bridge circuit, and a braking circuit into a single module. PIMs are designed to maximize power delivery combined with a reduced footprint, where external control and a high voltage gate drive are required.

Common topologies utilizing onsemi PIMs include three-phase inverter stages with input bridge rectification and brakes, boost converters, and multi-level inverters.
