Ohmite DZ Electro-Pyrotechnic Ignitor Chip Resistor

Ohmite DZ Electro-Pyrotechnic Ignitor Chip Resistors are designed to generate heat through a resistive element to ignite explosive material. A capacitor is charged in preparation, and discharged through the resistor upon receiving a remote signal. Ignitor resistors can accurately control ignition time, and are the most critical factor in determining a successful ignition. DZ Electro-Pyrotechnic Ignitor Chip Resistors feature an 0805 package, and resistance values from 2Ω to 8Ω.
