NXP Semiconductors UJA1169AF-EVB Evaluation Board

NXP Semiconductors UJA1169AF-EVB Evaluation Board is a demonstration and development platform for the UJA1169A CAN System Basis Chips (SBC). The UJA1169A SBCs contain an ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 to SAE J2284-5 compliant HS-CAN transceiver. The devices feature CAN FD up to 5Mbit/s and an integrated 5V or 3.3V, 250mA supply. The UJA1169A SBCs also feature a watchdog and a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The SBCs can be operated in very low-current Standby and Sleep modes with bus and local wake-up capability. The microcontroller supply is switched off in Sleep mode.

The NXP Semiconductors UJA1169AF-EVB Evaluation Board includes the UJA1169ATK/F variant of the target device along with the components needed to support basic UJA1169A functionality. The Evaluation Board contains circuitry for reverse polarity protected battery supply, status LEDs for BAT, V1, V2/VEXT, and LIMP signals, external PNP transistor for thermal management, local wake-up, and CAN bus termination. The Evaluation Board also features several header rows (2.54mm pitch) for connecting the MCU interface and application signals. The headers on the bottom are compatible with the Arduino Uno pinout order, allowing the board to be connected directly to a variety of NXP MCU Evaluation Boards.
