NXP Semiconductors MIMXRT595-EVK Evaluation Kit is a demonstration and development platform for the i.MX RT500 Crossover Microcontrollers. The i.MX RT500 MCUs combine a graphics engine and a streamlined Cadence® Tensilica® Fusion F1 DSP core with an Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, making them ideal for low-power Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications.
The MIMXRT595-EVK Evaluation Kit features pre-installed i.MX RT595 MCU in a FOWLP249 package. The Evaluation Kit also includes 512MB Flash, 4.5MB PSRAM, and 16GB eMMC. Onboard peripherals include a dual digital microphone, 6-axis e-compass sensor, USB, SD card slot, dual-class D amplifiers with speaker connectors, and stereo audio codec with an audio line in/out. A MIPI-DSI connector allows the user to connect an external display (not included), and Arduino-compatible headers provide a broad range of expansion board options. The wide range of peripheral interface options enables developers to explore the capabilities of the i.MX RT500 device.
The NXP Semiconductors MIMXRT595-EVK Evaluation Kit is supported by software and toolchains such as MCUXpresso SDK with Amazon FreeRTOS™, IAR Embedded Workbench® IDE, Keil® IDE, and Cadence Tensilica Xplorer IDE.
The MIMXRT595-EVK Evaluation Kit includes a MIPI display connector for optional display panels. The RK055HDMIPI4MA0 is a 5.5″ (diagonal) rectangular TFT LCD display with a touch-sensitive overlay, a 720 x 1280 resolution, and a 2-lane or 4-lane MIPI interface. The G1120B0MIPI is a 1.2″ round wearable display with a 390 x 390 resolution and a 1-lane MIPI interface.
