NXP Semiconductors FRDMSTBANBP8XD Freedom Shield Evaluation Board features a fully integrated battery pressure monitoring sensor (BPMS). The NBP8-9x BPMS offers a small footprint in a 4mm x 4mm package, low power consumption, PWM, SPI, ready/interrupt, and power supply enable. The NBP8-9x BPMS integrates an 8-bit central processing unit (CPU) and NXP-provided firmware to create the ready-to-use pressure sensor. Furthermore, the NXP NBP8-9x Battery Pressure Monitor Sensors employ a built-in MCU and enable sensing of the pressure change, making a configuration-based decision, and acting on this decision. The device does this while providing this information to the host system.
The NXP FRDMSTBANBP8XD Freedom Shield Evaluation Board arrives with standard Arduino headers and can be paired and connected with NXP Freedom MCU boards for user evaluations and software development.
