Murata DFE21CCNxEL Chip Coil Power Inductors feature a 20% increase in saturation current (ISAT) and a 50% reduction in DC resistance (RDC) over previous models. These parameters help raise operational efficiency levels and enable the downsizing of system designs. L-shaped electrodes allow these components to reach considerably higher density levels. Murata DFE21CCNxEL Chip Coil Power Inductors are available in a 0805 package size. These components are designed for use in 5G smartphones, DC/DC converters, and power management circuitry.
Five models are available. The DFE21CCNR24MEL provides a 0.24µH inductance with a maximum RDC of 20mΩ and a maximum ISAT of 6.5A. For the DFE21CCNR47MEL, the key values are 0.47µH for inductance, 29mΩ maximum for RDC, and 4.8A maximum for ISAT. The 1.0µH-rated DFE21CCN1R0MEL and 2.2µH-rated DFE21CCN2R2MEL have respective typical RDC figures of 60mΩ and 138mΩ, with ISAT figures of 3.3A and 2.1A. The DFE21CCNR33MELL offers a 0.33µH inductance rating, 23mΩ RDC, and a maximum of 5.4A for ISAT.
