Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ4314 Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ4314 Synchronous Step-Down Converters offer configurable-frequency with integrated internal high-side and low-side power MOSFETs (HS-FET and LS-FET, respectively). The MPQ4314 delivers up to 4A highly efficient output current (IOUT) with current mode control for fast loop response. The devices utilize a wide 3.3V to 45V input voltage (VIN) range to accommodate a variety of step-down applications in automotive input environments. A 1.7μA shutdown mode quiescent current enables the MPQ4314 to be used in battery-powered applications.

The MPS MPQ4314 Synchronous Step-Down Converters supply thermal shutdown for a reliable, fault-tolerant operation and frequency foldback to prevent inductor current runaway during start-up. A high-duty cycle and low-dropout mode are also furnished for automotive cold crank conditions.

The MPQ4314 is housed in a QFN-20 (4mm x 4mm) package.
