Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ3452 Boost Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ3452 Boost Converters are current control mode step-up converters that feature 3.5A, 90mΩ internal MOSFET for a fast transient response. These converters operate from 3.1V to 22V input voltage range, 22V output voltage, <1μA micropower shutdown, and 300kHz to 2MHz programmable switching frequency range. An external compensation pin allows to set loop dynamics flexibly and operates with small, low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. The MPQ3452 converters feature Soft-Start (SS) that provides a small inrush current and can be configured with an external capacitor. These converters offer protection features such as Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), current limiting, and thermal shutdown. The MPQ3452 converters are used in applications such as telecoms, power supplies, microphones, tuner bias, and automotive systems.
