Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP7235 Infrared Radiation LED Drivers offer a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode LED compact solution. The MP7235 delivers 1.5A continuous output current (ILED), and 3A peak LED current (IPEAK), with exceptional load and line regulation across a wide input supply range. Additionally, high efficiency is attained via synchronous mode operation.
The MPS MP7235 Infrared Radiation LED Drivers feature low pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming frequencies at small dimming duty cycles. The device supports PWM dimming frequencies as low as 10Hz to adjust infrared radiation (IR) in LED driver applications. The MP7235 is compatible with 30fps, 60fps, and 120fps dimming. The MP7235 driver’s current-mode operation implements a fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The device includes over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown protection features.
The MPS MP7235 Drivers is encapsulated in a space-saving QFN-13 (2.5mm x 3mm) package. The MP7235 needs a minimal number of readily available, standard external components.
