Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6919 Fast Turn-off Intelligent Rectifier

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6919 Fast Turn-off Intelligent Rectifier for flyback converters integrates a 100V/13mΩ MOSFET and offers high-efficiency and power density than a diode rectifier. This device generates its own supply voltage and does not require auxiliary winding for high-side or low-side rectification. The MP6919 rectifier supports Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM), and quasi-resonant operations. The internal ringing detection circuitry prevents the MP6919 rectifier from falsely turning on during DCM or quasi-resonant operations. This rectifier is suitable for charger applications with a low output voltage requirement or any other adapter applications with the high-side set-up. The MP6919 rectifier is ideally used in laptop adapters, Quick Charger (QC) and USB Power Delivery (PD) chargers, and high-efficiency flyback converters.
