Mikroe Spectrometer 2 Click

Mikroe Spectrometer 2 Click is a compact add-on board designed to collect light waves. The click board is based on the STMicroelectronics VD6283TX color sensor with advanced light flicker extraction. The VD6283TX operates fast and accurate light measurements via an individual ADC and a readout for each color channel of red, green, blue, IR, clear, and visible. The device utilizes hybrid color filters with precise responses enabling accurate computation of the correlated color temperature (CCT) and Lux information. The VD6283TX provides patented architecture and a high-performance photodiode design that extracts light-flickering frequencies to bypass “banding effects” or check that they are safe for the human eye.

The Mikroe Spectrometer 2 Click is engineered for screen brightness adjustment and white balance color assistance, lux and CCT measurement, or light frequency extraction for flicker correction assistance.
