Microsemi / Microchip PD-9501GCO IP67 Single-Port Power over Ethernet (PoE) Midspan offers a cost-effective, IEEE 802.3bt Type3 compliant solution for outdoor PoE data terminal installations. The PD-9501GCO Midspan allows wireless LAN access points, security network cameras, and other IP terminals to receive 60W of power, along with data, over standard Ethernet cables, leaving network infrastructure completely unaltered. The PD-9501GCO also offers surge protection for both the AC and the PoE ports ensuring that indoor equipment is protected from outdoor surges.

The IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 compliant PD-9501GCO PoE Midspan is backward compatible, ensuring support for IEEE 802.3af/at devices.
