Microsemi / Microchip AgileSwitch® ASDAK-2ASC Development Kit is a complete evaluation and development platform for the 2ASC-12A1HP 1200V SiC Gate Driver Core. The ASDAK Development Kit includes the hardware and software elements required to rapidly optimize the performance of SiC modules and systems. The ASDAK Development Kit enables designers to adjust system performance through software using the Intelligent Configuration Tool (ICT) and a Device Programmer, with no soldering required. The ICT offers configuration of different drive parameters including On/Off Gate Voltages, DC Link and Temperature Fault Levels, and Augmented Switching™ profiles. Even slight changes to the Augmented Switching can produce drastic improvements in switching efficiency, overshoot, ringing, and short-circuit protection.
The ASDAK-2ASC Development Kit is offered in three variants, each including a different module adapter board.
The AgileSwitch Intelligent Configuration Tool (ICT) enables developers to fine-tune the performance of programmable SiC Gate Driver Cores to their specific systems and applications. Small changes to the Augmented Switching™ profiles can yield dramatic improvements in switching efficiency, overshoot, ringing, and short-circuit protection.
