Microsemi / Microchip AgileSwitch 2ASC-17A1HP Gate Driver Core for SiC is a 1700V dual-channel high-performance core that enables better control and protection of SiC MOSFET-based power systems. This gate driver core offers up to 20A of peak current at an operating frequency of 150kHz. The 2ASC-17A1HP gate driver core provides a high Common Mode Transient Immunity (CMTI). This gate driver core includes an isolated DC/DC converter and a low capacitance isolation barrier for PWM signals and fault feedback. The 2ASC-17A1HP core comes with an Intelligent Configuration Tool (ICT) that allows the configuration of the gate driver parameters to the application. This gate driver core features power supply Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), power supply Over-Voltage Lockout (OVLO), desaturation detection settings, deadtime, fault lockout settings, and automatic reset settings.
