Microchip Technology Adaptec^® SmartRAID Adapters are designed to provide maximum performance with SAS/SATA/NVMe tri-mode functionality for server OEM, storage systems, and data centers. These adapters are built on the 5th generation SmartROC 3200 storage controller and support x8 PCIe Gen 4 host interface with 8 media-facing port variants. The SmartRAID adapters offer Universal Backplane Management (UBM), Virtual Pin Port Management (VPP), dynamic adapter power management, and maxView tool suite support. These adapters provide compatibility with existing Adaptec smart solutions, multiple operating systems, servers, enclosures, SSDs, and HDDs.
