Micro Crystal RV-3032-C7 Development Board

Micro Crystal RV-3032-C7 Development Board is a demonstration board for the RV-3032-C7 Real-Time Clock Module with I2C Bus. Micro Crystal RV-3032-C7 is soldered onto the development board. Every pin is accessible at test pins 1 to 8 and at the test vias situated around the device. The eight top-right vias (one-one copy of the test pins 1 through 8) can be used for an angled connector. RV-3032-C7 Real-Time Clock Module with I2C Bus incorporates an integrated CMOS circuit together with a crystal (XTAL).

Kit Contents

  • RV-3032-C7 RTC is soldered onto the development board
  • C1 10nF decoupling capacitor between Vss and Vdd
  • C2 100µF capacitor for backup power
  • C3, C4 option to place alternative (super)-capacitors or battery/Ceracharge for backup power
  • R1 330Ω current limiting resistor for LED
  • LED1 green – supply, current consumption of the LED has to be considered, J2 to switch off
  • R2 10kΩ pull-up resistor SDA to Vdd
  • R3 10kΩ pull-up resistor INT to Vdd
  • R4 10kΩ pull-up resistor SCL to Vdd
  • R5 0Ω resistor to be unsoldered in case of high-frequency signal issue
  • R6 10kΩ pull-down resistor to define Vbackup input in case it is not used
