Littelfuse QJxx16xHx 16A Alternistor TRIACs are designed to enable easy thermal management and high surge handling capability. These TRIACs operate in quadrants I, II, and III, and offer high performance in applications requiring high commutation capability. The QJxx16xHx alternistor TRIACs feature up to 600V voltage capability, 16A IT(RMS), 200A surge capability at 60Hz half cycle, and a 150°C high junction temperature. These TRIACs are halogen-free, RoHS-compliant, and recognized to UL 1557 for 2500VRMS as electrically isolated semiconductor devices. Typical applications include heater control, AC solid-state relays, light dimmers, and motor speed control.
