Littelfuse AQW05C/SDW05C-01FTG Bidirectional TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AQW05C/SDW05C-01FTG Bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes provide a high Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection level for electronic equipment. These diodes are fabricated using silicon avalanche technology. The AQW05C/SDW05C-01FTG bidirectional TVS diodes can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes of ±30kV (contact and air discharge as defined in IEC 61000-4-2) without any performance degradation. Typical applications include battery protection, computer peripherals, medical equipment, notebooks/desktops/servers, point-of-sale terminals, switches/buttons, and test equipment/instrumentation.

  • 6V minimum breakdown voltage 
  • 5V maximum reverse standoff voltage
  • ±30kV ESD withstand voltage, IEC 61000-4-2 (contact/air discharge)
  • EFT, IEC 61000-4-4, and 40A (5/50ns)
  • Maximum surge tolerance, IEC 61000- 4-5 2nd Edition, 30A (8/20μs)
  • Clamp voltage:
    • 8V typical (IPP=1A, tp=8/20μs, and I/O to GND)
    • 15A typical (IPP=30A, tp=8/20μs, and I/O to GND)
  • Halogen-free, lead-free, and RoHS-compliant
  • Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL-1)
  • AEC-Q101 qualified and PPAP capable (AQW05C-01FTG)
