Kneron KL720 AI SoC Development Kit provides a demonstration and evaluation platform for the KL720 AI (Artificial Intelligence) SoC (System on a Chip). The KL720 makes Edge AI computation possible by providing the crucial components that enable a device to have AI processing power and decision-making capabilities. Performing on-device Edge AI computation means that latency is reduced and privacy is significantly improved, as the data is not being sent or stored in the cloud.
The Kneron KL720 AI SoC Development Kit includes a Main Board with a pre-installed KL720 SoC in a BGA269 package. The Main Board also provides 1MB of DDR memory and 1MB of SPI NOR Flash memory. An I/O board provides access to Micro-USB, ICE/DSP JTAG, audio in and out, and microphone in connectors. SD/MicroSD expansion is also provided.
