KEMET Pyroelectric Infrared Food Sensors

KEMET Pyroelectric Infrared Food, General IR Spectroscopy, and Oil Monitoring Sensors utilize thin-film pyroelectric PZT material and can be reduced in size while still providing high sensitivity with fast frequency operation. The QDC series offers a TO39 package, a 2.7V minimum voltage rating, and a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range. The QDC sensor element is built into a low-noise circuit that features an internal CMOS operational amplifier.

QDA Sensors are linear arrays housed in a low profile, sealed metal package along with a temperature sensor that can be fitted within a choice of filtered windows. The additional “+1” sensor element provides higher sensitivity on a discrete wavelength and is located for ATR and transmission use.

KEMET Pyroelectric Infrared Food, General IR Spectroscopy, and Oil Monitoring Sensors are ideal for medical, automotive, industrial, environmental, and consumer applications.
