Infineon Technologies PSoC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen7XL Controllers

Infineon Technologies PSoC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen7XL Controllers perform haptic and acoustic feedback processing on-chip for faster response time. These touchscreen controllers provide Hover and Force touch features while adhering to automotive ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) and ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements. The multitouch Gen7XL controllers can replace mechanical on/off buttons with a capacitive touchscreen in infotainment systems. These controllers operate within the -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature range (A-grade) and the -40°C to 105°C ambient temperature range (S-grade).

The multitouch Gen7XL controllers feature a 32-bit Arm® Cortex® CPU, wake-on-screen with a 150μA typical power consumption, and noise suppression technologies for display and RF noise. These controllers support split screen, Android™ driver, and various touchscreen sensors. The multitouch Gen7XL controllers are used in entry and mid-level Central Information Display (CID) systems.
