Infineon Technologies MOTIX™ BLDC Motor Gate Driver ICs offer a range of automotive-qualified 3-phase gate driver ICs for voltage domains from 12V to 48V. The Infineon Technologies MOTIX ICs come in ISO 26262-ready and ISO 26262-compliant versions, making them suitable for various automotive applications. These applications include electric power steering, brake boosters, MHEV starter generators, active roll control, HVAC compressors, pumps, and fans. The devices prioritize efficiency, space savings, and monitoring functions.
MOTIX 12V solutions are tailored to safety and system needs. The TLE9185 product line features ISO-ready devices with integrated current sense amplifiers (CSAs) in a compact VQFN-48 package. The TLE9180D-21QK and 32QK have ISO-ready options with two or three integrated CSAs in a larger LQFP-64 package. The TLE9183QK variant is a 12V ASIL-D-compliant device for safety-critical applications like EPS and braking.
MOTIX™ has two options for 24V/48V voltage applications. The TLE9140EQW is designed for 24V and 48V systems, meeting ASIL B compliance standards. The TLE9140EQW features internal monitoring and diagnostic capabilities. The device is housed in a compact TSDSO-32 package without an integrated CSA. The TLE9180D-32QK is ASIL C compliant and equipped with three integrated CSAs, making it ideal for safety-critical applications like electronic power steering (EPS), and braking.
