Infineon Technologies CYUSB3KIT-004 EZ-USB™ SX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit is a demonstration and development platform for the SX3 SuperSpeed USB Controllers. The SX3 devices have a fully configurable general interface that can interface with any processor, ASIC, image sensor, or field programmable gate array (FPGA). The SX3 SuperSpeed USB Controllers integrate the USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 physical layers (PHYs) along with a 32-bit Arm® 926EJ-S Microprocessor for powerful data processing and for building custom applications.
Infineon Technologies CYUSB3KIT-004 EZ-USB™ SX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit consists of the EZ-USB SX3 Baseboard and a Camera Board. The Baseboard includes a pre-mounted EZ-USB SX3 device, along with a USB Type-C™ port and GPIO connectors. The Camera Board features a Lattice Semiconductor Crosslink FPGA, an onboard camera module, a MIPI camera interface, a MEMS microphone, and JTAG and GPIO connectors.
The CYUSB3KIT-004 is intended to be a development kit for USB Type-C audio and video streaming applications.
The EZ-USB SX3 Configuration Utility can be used to configure EZ-USB SX3 devices according to application or system requirements. The utility allows users to intuitively select and configure the parameters for the application and saves time on firmware development. This utility also allows the programming of the connected SX3 device with the generated configuration.
