MOTIX™ IMD700A/IMD701A are advanced motor controllers that combine the XMC1404 microcontroller and the 6EDL7141 3-phase gate driver IC in a single package. Ideal for developing next-gen battery-operated devices using BLDC or PMSM motors, these controllers feature integrated power supply and current shunt amplifiers, reducing the need for peripheral circuitry, optimizing PCB space, and enhancing system packaging options.

The MOTIX™ 3-phase motor control gate driver IC 6EDL7141 is a versatile stand-alone device with configurable gate drive currents up to 1.5A. The device effectively drives a variety of MOSFETs, minimizing losses and boosting efficiency. The device offers adjustable gate driver supply voltage (7V, 10V, 12V, 15V) even at low battery levels, thanks to built-in charge pumps. With customizable parameters for gate driver control, including slew rate, it minimizes system EMI. The 6EDL7141 features a user-friendly PC-based GUI tool for easy setting adjustments. Additionally, it ensures system reliability with protection features like OCP, UVLO, over-temperature, and locked rotor detection, enhancing robustness in challenging operating conditions.
