Guerrilla RF GRF6403 Digital Step Attenuator

Guerrilla RF GRF6403 Digital Step Attenuator (DSA) is a bi-directional, 31.75dB range DSA that provides precise stepping in 0.25dB increments. The device supports three unique programming modes (serial, direct parallel, and latched parallel) and includes a unique Rapid Fire™ selection pin, allowing immediate switching into a pre-defined attenuation state. This ability to quickly shift into a secondary state allows a single device to be used in TDD applications where different attenuation levels are needed for TX/RX modes of operation.

The GRF6403 covers the 50MHz to 6GHz range while maintaining precise and monotonic gain stepping. Glitching is minimized to <2dB for all steps. The device delivers up to 30dBm of IP0.1dB, 58dBm of IIP3, and a low IL of less than 1.3dB at 2GHz. The compact 4mm x 4mm QFN-24 packaged GRF6403 DSA operates within a -40°C to +115°C temperature range.
