EPCOS / TDK USSM Distance Sensor Module Demo Kit

TDK USSM Distance Sensor Module Demo Kit is designed for use with TDK ultrasonic sensor modules, which detect objects using inaudible ultrasonic waves transmitted and received by a piezoelectric disc. The evaluation board, with its software package, enables the user to monitor the sensor in many operation modes. The digital IO and the analog readout of the echo traces can be displayed. The board assists in the early and later development stages because it makes visible what the sensor can detect and how it responds in certain situations. The module is IP65/67 protected and designed to be immune to external mechanical vibrations that can falsify the measurement result. The kit includes a TDK demo board with USB-A to micro-B cable, two ultrasonic sensor modules, two sensor cables, and two gaskets.

TDK USSM Distance Sensor Module Demo Kit is well-suited for obstacle detection and distance measurement under difficult environmental conditions. This includes full sunlight and translucent target objects in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs).
