Eaton MOVGT (MOV/GDT Combination) Hybrid Devices

Eaton MOVGT Hybrid Devices are discrete metal oxide varistor (MOVs) and gas discharge tube (GDTs) combination assemblies packaged in 7mm to 20mm traditional MOV disc sizes. These devices offer lower clamping voltages, longer life, and lower leakage currents providing better overvoltage protection in a small radial/through-hole footprint. Features include a broad 55VAC to 560VAC operating voltage range and high nominal surge current withstand (up to 5kA, 40 times).
