Dura-Con / Cinch Connectivity Solutions Micro-D EMI Backshells are designed to connect cable shields to micro-D connectors. These circular backshells provide strain relief and mechanical/electromagnetic protection with an easy installation for a variety of harnesses. The backshells can be delivered with braided sleeves of specified lengths and a crimp sleeve is included for bonding a braided sleeve to the backshell wire entry. The Dura-Con Micro-D EMI backshells are available in multiple entry shell sizes.
The Micro-D tools and hardware include jackscrews, jackposts, nuts, clips, and washers. The jackscrews feature a minimum tensile strength of 125000ps and are built using nonmagnetic corrosion resistant steel. The jackpost and nuts feature corrosion resistant steel material per ASTM A484/A484M and EITHER ASTM A276 or ASTM A582/A582M. The clip and washers feature corrosion resistant steel material per ASTM A484/A484M.
