Digi TX54 Cellular Routers

Digi TX54 Cellular Routers are rugged routers that provide secure routing and gateway functionality across wired and wireless communication networks. These routers offer FirstNet Ready™ and global models with both single and dual cellular modules. The TX54 routers come with local private subnets that are bridged across public networks to safeguard privacy and integrity. These routers are future-built with a dual-core 880MHz MIPS processor and PCIe 2.0 internal bus. The TX54 routers are ideal for mission-critical industrial and transportation applications with dual high-speed 802.11ac Wi-Fi®, integrated BLUETOOTH®, and precise GPS features for dead reckoning capabilities. Typical applications include smartphones, laptops/tablets, security cameras, Ethernet switches, fare collection, legacy equipment, and network devices.

The TX54 routers incorporate the same hardware as the WR54 routers, with the primary difference being the updated operating system. These TX54 routers also use the Digi Accelerated Linux (DAL) operating system with an updated user interface and default settings.

FirstNet is a public/private partnership managed by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce that develops and operates a nationwide first-responder network. This network authority provides highly secure and prioritized network access.
