DFRobot Ring Inductive Proximity Sensors are designed to detect metal objects entering or passing through the ring. These sensors feature 3mm and 6mm diameters and operate at the 6V to 36V power supply range and offer NPN output. The sensors feature an onboard LED that lights up when a metal object is detected and a sensitivity adjustment knob that rotates clockwise to increase sensitivity. These ring inductive proximity sensors offer less than 1ms response time and feature high accuracy and stable performance. This allows the sensor to work well even in the detection of fast-moving small metal objects.
The ring inductive proximity sensors are sealed in a rugged and anti-rust house that is made of brass nickel-plated flame-retardant material. These sensors feature IP66 protection degrees. The sensors operate at a -25°C to 65°C temperature range that meets both indoor and outdoor requirements regardless of the weather. The ring inductive sensors are ideal for sensing small metal parts such as screws, washers, nuts, or monitoring wire breakages and jams.
