DFRobot FIT0832 Isolated USB To RS485 Converter is an industrial-grade USB to RS485 module with a DC voltage output of up to 36V. This device applies to industrial instruments that require a high-voltage power supply. The converter can be powered directly by the USB bus. No external power supply is needed. With strong compatibility, this USB to RS485 converter conforms to the USB 2.0 standard (downward compatible) and the RS485 standard and supports Systems like Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/7/8/10/Vista, Mac, and so on.
The DFRobot FIT0832 comes with built-in 15KV ESD protection and a maximum of 600W lightning surge protection. In terms of over-current and over-voltage protection, it adopts a self-recovery fuse + TVS protection circuit to extend the service life of the module effectively. The USB to RS485 module features plug-and-play and hot-swappable onboard indicators for visually displaying Rx/Tx communication status. It offers adaptive data communication rate from 300 to 921.6kbps.
