CUI Inc VX78-1000R Non-Isolated DC Switching Regulators are compact, encapsulated regulators suited for positive- or negative-output applications. These DC-DC converters utilize switching technology to offer a high-performance alternative to linear regulators by being footprint compatible with TO-220-package LM78XX and LM79XX regulators. VX78-1000R is highly efficient up to 96% and requires no heat sink, making it ideal for applications where board space is at a premium and maximizing energy efficiency is a concern.
