CML Micro EV6550D Evaluation Kit is designed for the evaluation and application development of the CMX655D. This evaluation kit is designed to interface with Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) microphone evaluation boards. The EV6550D evaluation board is in the form of a populated PCB containing the CMX655D IC, supporting components, and circuitry. This EV6550D board operates from a single 5V power supply supplied by PE0003 or bench power supply when the class-D is disabled. The evaluation board allows the CMX655D to operate at 3.3V or 1.8V via a jumper configuration. When class-D is enabled, an additional power supply connecting directly to the CMX655D is required, and the power supply should be set to 3.3V.
The EV6550D board features two dual-in-line sockets to support evaluation with STEVAL-MIC001V1 or similar boards. This board operates by connecting to the host port on the CML PE0003 Universal Interface Card. The EV6550D board can be used with the associated PC GUI software or by direct connection between the CMX655D Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) or Two Wire Interface(TWI). This board can also be used with a μC development application or emulation system.
