Cinch Space Mission Solutions

Cinch Connectivity Solutions Space Mission Solutions include Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 9 connectors, Qualified Parts for Space (QPS) attenuators, cable assemblies, and micro-D connectors. These solutions meet space flight characteristics, including outgassing the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E595 (NASA) 1% Total Mass Loss (TML). The space mission solutions adhere to 0.1% Collected Volatile Condensable Materials (CVCM). These solutions are highly reliable, rugged, and durable. The space mission solutions such as QPS components, micro-D connectors, cable assemblies, and Twinax and Triax connectors offer high performance. 

The QPS attenuators are MIL-DTL-83513 qualified and are available with three standard screening options. The hermetically sealed Twinax and Triax connectors are designed to prevent leakage through the bulkhead from the inside of the connector. These connectors protect data signals from noise through non-signal carrying shielding. The micro-D connectors are designed for extreme environmental conditions and include solder cup, uninsulated solid wire, and insulated stranded wire termination styles.

The space mission solutions are used in navigation, space telescopes, space cubes, meteorology, earth observation, attitude correction modules, docking systems, and Mars rovers. Other applications include central units, ground stations, command memory boxes, and surveillance.
