Cal Test Electronics CT446x CAT III Hook Clips with a 4mm sheathed banana jack enhance testing capabilities. The CT446x components are rated to 1000V CAT III with a 5A current when used with similarly rated 4mm sheathed banana plug leads. The Cal Test Electronics CT446x Hook Test Clips are available individually (CT4466-x) or as a black and red pair (CT4467). The hook clip easily connects to the 4mm sheathed banana plug leads of DMMs, differential probes, or other similar types of equipment.
A plunger-style actuation facilitates quick connections while allowing limited exposed contacts, thus reducing unintentional shorts. The hook can accommodate conductors up to 2.5mm in diameter. The clip, at around 5″ (12.6cm) long, gives users the needed reach plus the sizing needed but is still compact enough for small, hard-to-reach circuits.
