Broadcom AEAT-9955 Programming Kit & Evaluation Board

Broadcom AEAT-9955 Programming Kit and Evaluation Board is a development and calibration platform for the AEAT-9955 Programmable Angular Magnetic Encoder. The AEAT-9955 is an angular magnetic rotary sensor that provides accurate angular measurement over a full 360° of rotation. The AEAT-9955 integrates Hall sensor elements with complex analog and digital signal processing into a single device. A simple two-pole magnet generates the necessary magnetic field by rotating it perpendicularly. Wide magnetic field sensor configurations allow On-Axis (end of shaft) or Off-Axis (side of shaft, axial, and radial) modes in applications.

The Broadcom AEAT-9955 Programming Kit (HEDS-9955PRGEVB) includes an Evaluation Board with a pre-mounted AEAT-9955 in a QFN-32 package. Also included is an STMicroelectronics STM32 Nucleo-64 Development Board, an Interface Board, and the cables needed to connect to a PC. An intuitive Graphic User Interface (GUI) can then be used to view the sensor data and calibrate the target device.
