Bourns 1220 Surge Protective Devices (SPDs)

Bourns 1220 Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) with thermal protection are designed to open in the event of overheating due to an abnormal overvoltage or Temporary Overvoltage (TOV). These surge devices comply with UL 1449 and IEC/EN 61643-11 standards and come in a compact size to save installation space. The 1220 surge protective devices (SPDs) are high-reliability protected MOV with Advanced Thermal Disconnector (TD+). These surge devices interrupt any abnormal current encountered up to rated limits. The Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) feature a PCB mount design and are compatible with reflow and wave soldering procedures. These surge devices operate at 200kArms Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) and the nominal voltage goes up to 600V. The 1220 Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) are ideally used in AC-DC distribution, all power circuits, and telecommunications.
