BIVAR Unibody High Flex (UHF) Series Silicone Flexible Light Pipes are IP67-rated light pipes manufactured with clear silicone pipe and lens construction process. These light pipes simplify the design process by providing a one-piece patent pending rib design that seals and protects from ingress. This offers strong panel retention without requiring gasket, nut, and/or washer hardware. The Silicone used in these light pipes provides a broader operating temperature range of -40°C to 200°C. The UHF light pipes are specifically designed for applications that present challenging design requirements like space constraints, pathway impediments, and environmental conditions.
The UHF series is equipped with a ZeroLightBleed™ adapter in preselected lengths, or it can be used without an adapter in shorter lengths. The flexible unibody silicone material enables improved light pipe routing around components and provides flexibility in aligning the LED light pathway with the lens. The UHF silicone flexible light pipes can also be used for applications that use UV and IR LEDs.
