Banner Engineering S4B Safety Light Curtains

Banner Engineering S4B Safety Light Curtains are two-piece optoelectronic safeguarding devices that come in a compact package for smaller production machines. S4B light curtains create a screen of synchronized, modulated infrared sensing beams that extend from end to end of the sensors, ensuring there is no “dead zone.” The S4B emitters feature a row of synchronized modulated infrared (invisible) light-emitting diodes, while receivers have a corresponding row of synchronized photodetectors. These curtains are highly immune to EMI, RFI, ambient light, weld flash, and strobe lights and offer a maximum sensing range of 12m, which decreases if corner mirrors or lens shields are used. Banner Engineering S4B Safety Light Curtains have 30mm resolution and are FMEA-tested to ensure control reliability.
