Asahi Kasei Microdevices CZ375x Coreless Current Sensor ICs

Asahi Kasei Microdevices CZ375x Coreless Current Sensor ICs are open-type current sensors implementing Hall sensors that output an analog voltage proportional to the AC/DC. Group III-V semiconductor thin film is used as the Hall sensor, allowing high-accuracy and high-speed current sensing.

The Asahi Kasei Microdevices CZ375x coreless current sensor ICs offer a built-in stray magnetic field reduction function to suppress degradation accuracy disadvantages. Furthermore, the low primary conductor resistance suppresses heat generation to achieve the 100ARMS continuous current.

The sensor ICs are housed in a space-saving coreless ultra-small surface mount package. The CZ375x uses the same package as the CZ-370x series, resulting in a wide range of current detection, from ±115Apeak (CZ-375A) to ±225Apeak (CZ-375D). This current range enables users to implement the same board design across different products and expand options to different current ratings. The CZ-375x series is also UL 61800-5-1 safety compliant, which is an ideal fit for industrial charging piles, commercial air conditioners, etc.
