Analog Devices MAX98363 SoundWire® Class D Amplifiers feature industry-leading Class AB audio performance with Class D efficiency. The tiny, low-cost, input Class D mono amplifiers incorporate an internal tone generator, interrupt control, and selectable slew-time settings for SoundWire data output PHY. A novel pinout provides users a way to implement the cost-effective wafer-level package (WLP) with no need for expensive in-pad vias.
Analog Devices MAX98363 SoundWire class D amplifiers support a MIPI SoundWire v1.2-compatible digital audio and control data interface. The digital interface is highly flexible and facilitates a variety of input clock frequencies. Selectable slew-time controls on the SoundWire data output PHY minimize EMI on a range of capacitive bus loads. A 1.8V nominal voltage supply operates the digital interface, which can be supplied externally or generated by an internal LDO. Furthermore, an internal tone generator, with various frequency options, allows in-factory testing or system boot-up sounds during system power-up.
The MAX98363 is specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range. and is available in a space-saving 9-Bump WLP package.
