Analog Devices MAX98361 Evaluation System facilitates the evaluation of the MAX98361A/B/C/D mono Class-D audio amplifiers. The MAX98361A/B/C/D Amps are easy-to-use, low-cost, digital pulse-code modulation (PCM) input Class-D amplifiers that provide industry-leading, Class-AB audio performance with Class-D efficiency. The MAX98361A and MAX98361C support the standard I2S interface, and MAX98361B and MAX98361D support standard left-justified mode. All the variants of the MAX98361 support an 8-channel TDM digital audio interface.
The fully assembled and tested system includes a MAX98361 Development Board (DEV board), Audio Interface Board III (AUDINT3), and a USB cable. The MAX98361 Development board is recommended to be evaluated with the AUDINT3 board as an evaluation system. The AUDINT3 board delivers the USB-to-PCM interface and the 1.8V VDDIO supply needed to assess the DEV board. The Analog Devices MAX98361 DEV board requires one additional supply input, 2.5V to 5.5V (VDD), when evaluating using the AUDINT3 board.
