Analog Devices MAX20361 Evaluation Kit (MAX20361EVKIT) is a demonstration and development platform for the MAX20361 Single-Cell/Multi-Cell Solar Harvester. The Evaluation Board features a Pmod™ connector, allowing the included USB2PMB2 adapter board to provide an I2C interface. The MAX20361EVKIT features an adjustable current source and a monocrystalline solar cell to generate input current to the IC. It also features a supercapacitor and resistor load to evaluate the integrated charger of the MAX20361. Onboard load current monitoring circuitry provides convenient sensing of the Analog Devices MAX20361 output current.

Software

The MAX20361EVKIT software provides an easy-to-use Graphics User Interface (GUI) to accelerate configuration and evaluation of the MAX20361 Single Cell Solar Harvester. This Microsoft Windows-based application communicates to the Evaluation Kit via the USB2PMB2 Adapter. The GUI enables the user to demonstrate the features of the target IC, such as the boost regulator, integrated charging and protection circuit, open-circuit voltage measurement, MPPT, cold-startup, and thermal monitoring.
