This switching regulator delivers load up to 2A peak inductor current and offers cycle-by-cycle inductor current limit and thermal protection. The MAX17227A regulator offers ultra-low quiescent current, small total solution size, and high efficiency throughout the load and line range. This switching regulator disconnects the output from the input with no forward or reverse-current which saves energy for the battery.
