Analog Devices Inc. LTM4673 Demonstration Circuit DC2810A

Analog Devices Inc. LTM4673 Demonstration Circuit DC2810A is an evaluation platform for the LTM4673 μModule® Step-Down Regulator. The LTM4673 is a quad output, dual 12A and dual 5A, switching mode DC-DC step-down μModule (power module) regulator. The LTM4673 integrates a 4-channel Power System Manager used to sequence, trim (servo), margin, supervise, manage faults, provide telemetry, and create fault logs. The device operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 15.0V. The LTM4673 supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 3.3V for 12A channels and 0.6V to 5.5V for 5A channels.

The Analog Devices Inc. DC2810A Demonstration Circuit is designed to be attached to a PC using the DC1613A USB to I2C/SMBus/PMBus Controller and the free-to-download LTpowerPlay® GUI. The LTpowerPlay software allows users to monitor real-time telemetry of input and output voltages, input and output currents, internal IC die temperatures, and fault logs.

LTpowerPlay GUI Software

LTpowerPlay is a powerful Windows-based development environment that supports Analog Devices Inc. Power Management ICs (PMICs). LTpowerPlay can evaluate the PMICs by connecting to a Demo Board system. LTpowerPlay can also be used in an offline mode (with no hardware present) to build a multi-chip configuration file that can be saved and reloaded later.

LTpowerPlay can function as a diagnostic tool during board bring-up to program or tweak the power management scheme in a system or diagnose power issues when bringing up rails. The software also includes an automatic update feature to keep the software current with the latest set of device drivers and documentation.
