Analog Devices Inc. LTC7806 2-Phase Synchronous Boost Controllers

Analog Devices Inc. LTC7806 2-Phase Synchronous Boost Controllers are high-performance, low IQ converter controllers that drive two N-channel power MOSFET stages out-of-phase. These controllers feature a constant-frequency current mode architecture that allows a phase-lockable switching frequency of up to 3MHz. The LTC7806 controllers operate within an extensive input voltage range from 4.5V to 40V. When biased from the boost converter output, these controllers exhibit remarkable adaptability, enabling operation even with input supplies as low as 1V post-startup.

The LTC7806 controllers feature a precision 1.2V reference, a power-good output indicator, and an inductor current monitor. These controllers are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. The LTC7806 synchronous boost controllers are housed within a side wettable 28-lead 4mm x 5mm QFN package. Typical applications include automotive and transportation, audio and RF power amplifiers, industrial and medical, and communications.
