Analog Devices Inc. LTC4238 Demo Boards DC2914A-A/B/C have three variants to showcase the three different staged start topologies of LTC4238. The LTC4238 Hot Swap Controllers permit a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane. The DC2914A Demo Boards are designed for 12V, 24V, and 48V systems and comes loaded with advanced features including SOA timer, COMM pin for scalability, and various operating modes.
The three variants of the ADI DC2914A Demo Boards include the DC2914A-A, DC2914A-B, and DC2914A-C. The DC2914A-A displays the parallel mode of operation for a 48V, 1.5kW application. The DC2914A-B demonstrates the low stress staged start mode for a 48V, 2.5kW regulated input application. Furthermore, the DC2914A-C showcases the high stress staged start mode with SOA timer for 48V, 2.5kW application with large input steps.
The Linear Technology/Analog Devices DC2914A Demo Boards feature onboard LEDs that indicate the presence of input, output, power good signaling, and any fault if present. Long-term product reliability is achieved by following the high voltage layout rules.
