Analog Devices Inc. LTC3313 Step-Down Silent Switchers®

Analog Devices Inc. LTC3313 Step-Down Silent Switchers® are small, low-noise, monolithic step-down DC/DC converters. The LTC3313 features up to 15A output current from a 2.25V to 5.5V input supply. The LTC3313 provides Silent Switcher architecture, achieving low EMI and high efficiency at switching frequencies as high as 5MHz. Additionally, multiphasing parallel converters are implemented for systems with higher power requirements.

The ADI LTC3313 switchers utilize a constant frequency, peak current mode control architecture for a fast transient response. A 500mV reference enables low voltage outputs, while 100% duty cycle operation delivers low dropout. Other features include a power good signal when the output is in regulation, output overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown, a precision enable threshold, a temperature monitor, mode selection, clock synchronization, and output short circuit protection.

The LTC3313 step-down silent switchers are housed in a compact 18-pin 3mm x 3mm LQFN package.
